Sarah Hammond
Registered Psychotherapist
MA - Counselling Psychology, BA - Psych, OTA/PTA
I have been working as a certified Registered Psychotherapist since 2020 and specialize in helping people identify and achieve their personal goals by helping clients to develop coping skills with issues that are causing distress, anxiety, and interfering with their daily lives.

I hold a B.A. in Psychology and Philosophy from the University of Waterloo and an M.A. in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), a professional member with CCPA and have a diploma as an Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy Assistant from Humber College.

I have taken additional courses and training in dyadic developmental psychotherapy (DDP) level 1 and 2, non-directive play-based expressive therapy including sand tray training, A Compassionate Approach to Addictive Processes with Internal Family Systems, ACT and IFS informed experiential training. I have completed courses on trauma informed intervention and training in mindfulness and meditative practice.
I’ve helped clients break through the obstacles that seem to be holding them back in life. Life's too short to be overwhelmed, unsure, or unfulfilled. I am here to help people achieve a more positive outlook on life, and provide clients with all the tools necessary to get them there.
Let me help you learn and develop better ways to handle the issues that are standing in the way of your goals.
